| AIO~All in one diaper. This diaper is very similar to a disposable diaper.This diaper has a waterproof outer layer that consists of either fleece or pul (polyurithane laminate). It has several inner layers and extra soaking material in the center. It can have a sewn in soaker, lay in soaker, snap in soaker. They have elastic in the legs and around the back. All in ones close with snaps or velcro (currently we only offer snaps. |
| Fitted diaper~ This diaper is made very similar to an all in one except it does not have the waterproof outside layer. You would put the fitted diaper on first and then a waterproof cover over top. |
| Pocket diaper~ This diaper has an outside waterproof layer which is usually pul (polyurithane laminate) and an inner layer of microfleece or suedecloth. It has elastc in the legs and around the back and closes with snaps or velcro (currently we only offer snap closures). This diaper is different then an aio because the soaker needs to be inserted into the pocket of the diaper which is an opening in the back of the waist band of the diaper. You can insert anything like prefolds, inserts, washcloths etc. When you take the diaper off you remove the soaker part and put it all in the pail. The good thing about this diaper is you can control the absorbancy and thickness of the diaper very easily. I am licensed by MOE as a pocket diaper maker. |
